Promoting research and science, supporting cultural life in Hohenlohe and intensifying education and training are the central pillars of the Friedrich Kriwan Foundation's activities. In the area of education in particular, the foundation places an important focus on introducing schoolchildren in Hohenlohe to the joy of research and development. The hope is also to awaken their enthusiasm for technical professions.

A significant event in this context was the official handover of the IT equipment financed by the Friedrich Kriwan Foundation to the Gewerbliche Schule Künzelsau on 18.10.2023. 26 new PCs and notebooks as well as a document camera were ceremoniously inaugurated in collaboration with the "Innovationsregion Hohenlohe" association, which initiated not only this sponsorship project but also numerous other technology projects throughout Hohenlohe.

This modern equipment enables the students of the Technischen Gymnasiums, der Technischen Oberschule und der Realschule to continue to work in a practice-oriented manner and to dedicate themselves specifically to education in mathematics, computer science and technology.

In recent years, many Mintec and Jugend-forscht projects have already been carried out in this environment, some of which have even made it into national competitions.The new resources also open up the possibility of offering more extracurricular courses in this laboratory that go beyond the regular school curriculum. The Friedrich Kriwan Foundation is looking forward to making a contribution to the qualified and practical education of young people in the region and to promoting their interest in science and technology in the long term.
