This year's summer festival of the KRIWAN Group was a tremendous success and offered a wonderful opportunity for all employees to meet and interact outside of the work environment. Approximately 200 employees gathered in a specially erected tent to celebrate together on a beautiful summer day. This event served not only for entertainment but also for strengthening the sense of community and team spirit within the KRIWAN Group. It was the first event where all employees from the three companies could come together and get to know each other.
After an informative session encompassing all three companies of the KRIWAN Group – Birkholz Elektronische Geräte GmbH, KRIWAN Testzentrum GmbH, and KRIWAN Industrie-Elektronik GmbH – the more relaxed part of the festival began. Such informative events are important for keeping employees updated on the latest company developments and for promoting an understanding of the shared vision and goals.
For the culinary delight, Metzgerei Maurer provided a large selection of grilled delicacies. There were various salads, grilled vegetables and potatoes, shrimp skewers, as well as a rich assortment of meat and sausage specialties. For dessert, ice cream from Hohenloher Landeis was served, which was greatly appreciated by the guests, especially in the warm summer temperatures. The diverse culinary offerings definitely helped elevate the mood and strengthen the sense of community.
The KRIWAN Culture Workshop project group took the opportunity to give a brief update on the values they had developed. A KRIWAN trainee presented the details in a PowerPoint presentation to inform the rest of the workforce as effectively as possible.
For the colleagues from Birkholz, there was an additional manufacturing tour in Forchtenberg. The team leaders from KRIWAN Industrie-Elektronik guided the colleagues through our facilities, discussing production processes, overall operations, our expertise, and product range in detail. This initiative aims to enhance the utilization of each other's strengths for future collaborations.
The festive atmosphere provided employees with the opportunity to get to know each other better and foster cross-departmental and inter-company relationships. There was lively conversation, dancing, and laughter, which promoted communication and trust among colleagues. A raffle added extra entertainment and excitement, motivating participants and adding to the enjoyment. After the summer festival, some colleagues continued the evening with a visit to the "Nacht der Keller" in a cozy atmosphere with wine, further strengthening camaraderie.
Overall, the summer festival was a highly successful event in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that will be remembered by employees for a long time. It not only provided a welcome break from the everyday work routine but also facilitated the exchange of new ideas and perspectives that can propel the company forward in the future.
