Last week, the sales and product team of KRIWAN Industrie-Elektronik GmbH showcased their latest innovations at the prestigious Chillventa 2024 in Nuremberg, the leading international trade fair for refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation technology. KRIWAN’s booth attracted numerous visitors eager to learn firsthand about the newest technologies and innovations. Particularly noteworthy were the well-designed product tables, the digital solution displays, and the debut of a new product that garnered significant attention.
A key feature of the booth were the product tables, showcasing each of KRIWAN’s high-quality products in a hands-on way. Visitors had the opportunity to not only view the products but also physically interact with them, experiencing their quality up close. This interactive approach was especially well-received, allowing attendees to get a tangible sense of the technology and potential applications of KRIWAN’s solutions. These insights demonstrated the wide reach of the KRIWAN Group within the industry and how the different subsidiaries work together to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions.
Of particular interest was the presentation of Birkholz Elektronische Geräte GmbH, specializing in the manufacturing of electrical devices, and the KRIWAN Testzentrum, where new products undergo extensive testing and certification before hitting the market. These companies complement the expertise of KRIWAN Industrie-Elektronik, contributing to the high quality and reliability of their products.
Another highlight was the collaboration between KRIWAN and the Compressor Technology Working Group from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA). Featured at the booth was the X-Sensor test bench from HKA, supervised by Ulrich Schindler. The test bench uses an innovative sensor that implements an optical measurement method to monitor the ingress of liquid refrigerant on the suction side of compressors. This technology, developed as part of a publicly funded research project, opens new avenues for enhancing efficiency and monitoring refrigerant circuits.
For the Compressor Technology Working Group of HKA, presenting at Chillventa was a valuable opportunity to showcase their research findings to an international audience and to foster scientific exchange with industry professionals. Visitors interested in learning more about the research project or ongoing investigations were able to engage directly with the team.
A major highlight of the show was the introduction of the new Level Sensor with M12 connector, which debuted at Chillventa 2024. This sensor offers enhanced connectivity and is designed for use in industrial applications where robust and reliable connections are critical. The M12 connector allows for quick and easy installation and provides high resistance to environmental influences. The compact design and precision of this new sensor immediately attracted the attention of many industry professionals, who recognized its diverse application possibilities in their own systems.
